You can’t scroll through X (formerly known as Twitter) without coming across funny and interesting videos. Although the official X app doesn’t let you download videos, there are some straightforward ways to get the job done, whether you’re on Android, iOS, Mac, or PC.
How to download Twitter videos on your iPhone
You can use Shortcuts on your iPhone to download any video you want from Twitter. To start, install the All Media Downloader shortcut. Next, open X, find a tweet with a video, and hit the Share button below it. Select Share via…, scroll down, and pick All Media Downloader. When you do this for the first time, the shortcut will guide you through setup steps (including asking you to follow the creator on social media). You can skip those steps, and the shortcut will work its magic.
When it’s done, you’ll find the downloaded video in the Videos album in your iPhone’s Photos app.
How to download Twitter videos on Android
The Play Store has a useful app called TwiTake. Once installed, copy the link for any X video and paste it in TwiTake. The app will download the video, and you can press the Share icon to save it to your photo gallery or send it to any other apps.
How to save Twitter videos on your PC or Mac
When you see a fun vide on your computer, turn to Twitter Video Downloader. Copy the link to any tweet that contains videos, paste it on the Twitter Video Downloader site, and the site will download the video for you. Right-click this video, and you’ll see an option to save it to your computer.
