This DIY Takeaway Tray Classes Up Your Lazy Dinners

Video: Takeaway food’s great when you don’t want to cook, but you still usually have to put the food on something when it arrives. Sure a plate is fine, but YouTuber Darbin Orvar’s solution is much classier.

The idea here is really nothing more than a fancy TV dinner tray that uses some old wood as a platform. Using carving tools to create little divots for each item, she makes a few tweaks to smooth out the wood so it’s actually enjoyable to eat off, but it’s not terribly complicated as far as these things go.
