I don’t know about you, but digging through half-opened battery packages buried in a drawer isn’t an easy way to get what you need. This simple battery organiser makes it easy to grab and go.

Your need for something like this depends on how often you use battery-powered gadgets — most things have built-in rechargeable batteries these days — but the purpose of this project is twofold: not only does it organise your batteries, but it’s a great woodworking project for beginners that want to feel like they actually made something useful. In fact, even if you don’t use a lot of batteries, you could probably adapt this for all kinds of things.
