Prevent Car Windows From Fogging Up With Cat Litter-Filled Socks

Foggy windows in your car can be dangerous. A well-placed pair of socks filled with some kitty litter can absorb moisture and prevent the fog from ever happening.

YouTuber DaveHax explains how and why kitty litter can help with your fog problem in this video. He uses silica cat litter because it's super absorbent, sucks up damp odour, and doesn't smell like the chalky stuff.

Fill one sock with the kitty litter and then wrap the other sock around it all to keep it nice and secure. Now place the sock in your car and some moisture will get absorbed overnight. Easy!

or you could just turn up the heater and switch on the air conditioner this dries out the air pretty quick too. The plus side is that you don't have to buy kitty litter and have it in your car!

I'm pretty sure my 87 Corolla which no aircon and heater which struggles to melt an ice cube would disagree with you :P haha

Pretty sure the moisture from your breath has a lot to do with it
