Google Street View is a very handy feature of Google Maps. Instant Google Street View takes it a step further, taking you to any address or place name as soon as you start typing and offering features like downloading a clean, large image of your view.
You can navigate around the views just as you would in Google Maps and switch to map view if it’s available. In addition, controls in this neat webapp include: generating a random street view located within the current map, downloading the image without the interface and controls, and getting a permanent link to the current view.
Give it a try and you’ll find that the virtual joy ride is pretty addictive. Besides instantly porting you to any address, you can also type in place names; try “White House” or “Osaka Aquarium” for some interesting views.
