Big news: Google just purchased Sparrow, makers of one of our favourites for the iPhone.
The Sparrow team posted the news at their site this morning. Whether Google will pull the plug on the app or continue to develop it is unclear, but the Sparrow development team will be moving to the Gmail team once the acquisition is complete.
