The Living Room Workspace

Today’s featured workspace comes from photographer and designer Paul Bamford, who set up a nice, simple home office with the desk at centre stage and furniture that seems to have come to see the show.

This makes for a really nice, welcoming environment for guests in the office. Everyone is centered around a small table. It makes it easy for people to talk. It sort of combines the idea of a living room with an office, which is a really nice idea if you plan on having clients over to your home. The simple furniture choices, natural light and great hardwood floor certainly contribute to the aesthetic, but it’s really the arrangement that makes the office compelling.
