Adobe Brings Flash Support To iPads And iPhones

Adobe has just released Flash Media Server 4.5, which adds support for Apple's iOS. While it doesn't provide full Flash support, it does allow for video to be streamed to iOS.

The server-side software doesn't add the ability to play Flash games or view animations, but as long as video content providers utilise the new software, they will be able to provide content through Apple's format, HTTP Live Streaming.

In what way is that 'Flash Support', LH? What an odd headline.

Video is never Flash. Flash may play video, but the video file itself is not Flash.
