Total Commander For Android Offers Dual-Pane File Management

Android: Total Commander is one of our favourite alternative Windows file managers, and now there’s a powerful version for Android as well, which brings a one-of-a-kind dual-pane view and a host of other features. You won’t find Total Commander, currently in its third public beta, in the Android Market yet, but can download the free app directly from the developer to enjoy robust features like viewing folders side by side, handling all kinds of archived files, direct text file editing, managing installed apps, and a lot more. It’s easy to select multiple files at once and, with the dual-pane view, move or copy them into other folders.

To install the APK file, make sure your Android device is set to allow installation of apps from unknown sources (go to Settings, then the Applications page).
