Travelling is difficult enough without getting to your destination only to find your clothes smell like stale aeroplane air or car exhaust. Instead, spritz some tissues lightly with air freshener or your favourite fragrance and layer them between your layers of luggage.

With luck, you and your clothes will arrive on the other side of your trip smelling fresh. If it’s only your clothes though, at least you’ll have nice-smelling clothes to change into when you get where you’re going.
