If your Twitter feed keeps scrolling and jumping around for no reason, here’s how to fix it. Comms professional Evan Sutton points to the answer in Twitter’s settings menu. This works on both mobile and desktop.
You can fix that dumb issue with your feed jumping pretty easily. Just follow these three steps (Can't find the tweet that tipped me off, so apologies for the lack of a hat tip/RT) pic.twitter.com/uHVYt0uyIa

Tap your avatar in the top right (on the mobile app) or click More on the left rail (on the website).
Click Settings and privacy.
Toggle on Reduce motion.
This should, but might not always, stop Twitter from autoscrolling your feed. It didn’t stop my feed from auto-updating when I was at the top of the page. And judging by user tweets, the fix might even trigger some other bugs.
so i tried the thing to stop Twitter's auto refresh and now chrome on my ipad crashes non-stop ????????♀️
