UTS Now Has Free Online Courses

If you miss the feeling of structured learning and hitting clear milestones in your education, or just want to know what the heck blockchain is, UTS now has you covered.

UTS has launched UTS Open, a collection of free online courses that anyone can take provided they have access to a computer and the internet. All the courses are self-directed, so it’s up to you to stick with them. But that shouldn’t be too hard, as they’ll only take you anywhere from three to eight hours to complete.

There are 13 courses listed with 10 available now, including introductions to cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Upcoming courses will teach you how to make a podcast, and why you should use trademarks.

Longer courses will be added throughout the year, with the intention that some will eventually count as credit toward a degree. But if you’re just after some book learnin’ for your own pleasure, these snack-sized courses should satisfy.

To take a course or to register your interest in an upcoming one, visit UTS Open.
