As you read this, I should be somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, en route to Las Vegas. I’ll be attending SuiteWorld. This is NetSuite’s annual event where the company shares what’s new, gets customers to tell their stories and tells us what’s we can expect from their cloud-based business software in the coming year.
The last year has been very interesting for NetSuite. The company was acquired by Oracle for over US$9B last year and their leadership team has changed with the exit of their enigmatic former CEO Zach Nelson. Their annual conference has been one of my favourites for the last few years as I’ve met some very interesting local companies who, in addition to being NetSuite customers have some really interesting stories.
