Android: Just as with Windows, OS X and other operating systems, you probably have multiple apps on your Android device that can open the same types of files. Better Open With gives you a new way to choose which apps should be used and when.
When you tap on an image file, you may want to edit it, or you may want to simply view it. If you frequently do both, it can be a pain to set a default action as you will then have to change it when you want to do something different. Install Better Open With and you can specify a default file-handing app that should be used to open files if an alternative is not chosen in a short timeframe.
It’s a very simple idea, but one that works very well. You start by opting to use Better Open With as the default handler for files and the app will largely take care of this. You can essentially have a default app that will be used to open particular file types, but you’ll also always be given the option of changing your mind at the last second and using a different app.
