Bluetooth speakers are super-handy when you want to listen to music while you’re out and about. Unfortunately, most Bluetooth speakers are just little blocks of easy-to-destroy plastic. If you’re looking for something heftier, Instructables user ASCAS shows us how to build a rugged Bluetooth speaker.
This project is pretty complicated, but the end result is a Bluetooth speaker that looks like it can survive a good beating. It’s packed inside a watertight container, comes with its own remote, and has a solid 2.1 channel audio system. You’ll need basic soldering skills, a little knowledge of electronics and some patience to build this, but the guide is easy to follow.

Except for the actual speaker part that’s openly exposed… Would it be too much to get some speaker grills?
Exactly my comment.. Seems absolutely retarded.
First thing I thought as well
