Samplers are an awesome way to have millions of different sounds at your fingertips. If you want to build your own, SamplerBox is a project that just requires a Raspberry Pi and a little free time.
The setup here is deceptively simple. You’ll just need to install a single SD card image on the Pi, wire together some electronics, and then dump in your sound effects. The wiring itself isn’t terribly complicated, and you’ll find the full guide over on the SamplerBox site.
