Android: Don’t know where you just downloaded that file? Where’s that app you just installed? And how do you find photos you clicked in your unorganised Gallery? Recent is the simplest app to give you that info in a jiffy.
Recent works much like Recent Menu for Mac . It chronologically arranges recently installed apps, used apps, photos and downloads. The recently used apps seems a bit pointless given Android’s default multi-tasking will give you that anyway, but the rest are useful features to have.
It’s available as an app as well as a quick-launch floating icon on your Homescreen and App Drawer. The floating icon is only used to launch the app, download or photo, but the app gives you more interactions
In the app mode, you can locate the original location of any file or app, find details such as the size and type, and even delete or uninstall it if you want. And of course, you can open that file or app.
