What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Google Inbox and Google Apps, Basecamp 3, Time Buddy, Zoom, WhatsApp

What social network do you find the most useful?

Instagram.

What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?

Don’t do business with a-holes! It doesn’t matter how great your lawyers and contracts and all of that are, if you do business with unethical people it will still be a nightmare. Choose to work with people (customers, staff, partners) who you feel good about, you enjoy working with and you trust. Listen to your intuition.

What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?

Just how possible it is to create the life and lifestyle you want. I run a financial planning firm based in Melbourne, Australia, however I can do it from anywhere, and my team also are able to work from anywhere. If we can lift the limits from our thinking anything and everything is possible.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?

Maintaining relationship. I love people – my friends, my family, my team and our customers and I find it really easy to show that love and nurture those relationships everyday.

What’s your sleep routine like?

Early to bed, early to rise (I love getting up before the sun). I sleep like a baby and can sleep anywhere.

What advice would you offer to other businesses on how to succeed?

Stay focused on your passion, your vision, why you started the company, and don’t give up. Being in business is a rollercoaster and challenges us regularly, but most of the time the difference between those who succeed and those who fail, is simply persistence.
