Apple's ARKit for iOS 11 makes it relatively easy for developers to take advantage of the company's augmented reality features, and gives consumers the opportunity to interact with a virtual world layered over your actual environment. Augmented reality games are certainly the flashiest way to demonstrate its many uses, but some of the best augmented reality apps aren't games at all. These AR tools for iOS empower you with the tools you need to establish some sense of order in your home, plan for the future (in terms of what couch you're going to buy this spring) and get started on some home improvement projects without lifting a hammer.

Predicting the future is near impossible -- but that doesn‘t stop us all from having a red hot go. Human beings have been predicting the future since the beginning of history and the results range from the hilarious to the downright uncanny.

Dear Lifehacker, I cannot delete individual text messages for some of the conversations on my iPhone 6s. I hold my finger on them until I see "more", tap more, and nothing happens! Any suggestions?

Apple has finally taken the wraps off of its latest iPhone refresh, introducing the world to the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. While the phones may look the same as last year's models on the outside, they're packing some serious upgrades inside. Perhaps the biggest new feature to grace the iPhone is the addition of 3D Touch. An evolution of the Force Touch feature that made its first appearance on the Apple Watch when it debuted a year ago, 3D Touch brings a new way to interact with your iPhone.
