Your holiday season should contain many bourbon cocktails, yes, but don't overlook the culinary applications of the brown booze.


Happy weekend, everyone, and welcome back to 3-Ingredient Happy Hour, the weekly drink column featuring super simple yet delicious libations. This week was kind of hectic for various reasons, so I feel the need for something insanely streamlined, even by our standards. I want to pour, stir and sip, and maple syrup is going to help me get there.


Hot buttered rum is so good in theory, but in practice, it always disappoints. Slurping a film of butter off your top lip is a bit much, even for those of us who would eat a stick of butter like a banana were society ready to accept us.
