Living through a pandemic for more than a year has put everything — including our careers — in perspective. While some may be considering a career change because they’ve realised they’d rather spend their time doing something else, for the estimated 114 million people worldwide who lost their jobs in 2020 as a result of COVID-19 or the lockdown, it may be more a matter of necessity. The next two sections of the checklist focus on the actual job search, and those are ready for you if/when you’re ready to take the next step.
