Hey there. Having a bad day? Everything’s going to be ok—just breathe in and out.
If you’ve ever had a bout of anxiety, you might feel like your heart’s pounding out of your chest or you can’t think clearly. One remedy is deep, slow breathing. More than anything, focusing on breathing allows you to think about anything other than what’s contributing to your anxiety for a few moments. (There’s a reason why psychologists and others tout “mindfulness” as a meditation tactic.)
