How To Watch The 2019 People’s Choice Awards Without Cable

E!’s People’s Choice Awards kicks off tonight at 9pm ET, with the red carpet show officially kicking off at little earlier at 7pm ET.

Avengers:Endgame is taking on Toy Story 4, Captain Marvel, and Fast & Furious: Hobbes and Shaw for movie of the year; and awards will be handed out for everything from comedy movie star of 2019 to the best TV show of 2019.

If you have cable, then you can probably tune into the ceremony live thought your cable provider. If you don’t have cable; however, you can still catch all the action.

Unlike some other awards shows, this one is actually airing on a handful on NBC Universal stations, specifically E!, Bravo, Syfy, and the USA Network.

That means if you want to watch you just need access to one of those channels to do so. Luckily, almost every streaming service offers one or both in their basic streaming package.

Your cheapest option is going to be Sling TV, which starts at $US25 ($36)/mo. You can also access NBC Universal stations via Hulu with Live TV, FuboTV, an YouTube TV; although all of those start at $US40 ($58)/mo.

If your interest only lies in seeing the People’s Choice Awards, you can sign up for any of those services I mentioned now and watch tonight’s program using the service’s free trial. If you cancel before the trial is over, then you’ll have essentially been able to access the show for free.
