When I was in elementary school I was briefly obsessed with mechanical music boxes. You know, the kind you have to wind up to get them to play. They’re simple and nice to have, and now you can make a digital version of one for yourself.
Music Box Fun is a digital version of those mechanical music boxes of yore. The difference with this is that you’re creating your own tunes with the box.
At the top of the screen, each line of the box is given a musical note. Click on the lines below to place a note in your song. Once you’ve constructed your masterpieces, you can listen to it by pressing the play button on the page.
After you tweak it and have created the perfect tune you can share it with friends via Twitter directly from the page or just get a unique URL for your hit that you can send friends via text, email and the like.
If you’re a fan of music boxes, then it’s a fun way to spend a few minutes.
