iOS 13 is here, and like Android 10, Apple’s newest OS update brings an official dark mode to your iPhone. Apps can have their own special looks when you’re using dark mode, too, and the fine folks at Gadget Hacks have provided a long list of various apps that currently support this feature.
Some of the standouts include:
- Brave web browser
- Google News
- Microsoft OneDrive
- Newsify RSS
- SwiftKey Keyboard
- Washington Post
That’s only a small selection of the full list, and more will surely be added as time goes on.
If you’ve already updated to iOS 13, then you can enable dark mode in all your apps by going to Settings > Display & Brightness, and then tap the “Dark” option. Some apps may also need to be updated in order to use any new dark themes their developers have designed.
To update apps in iOS 13, open the App store on your device, tap your account icon to open the account settings page, then find and tap “Available updates”. You’ll see a list of pending updates, which you can either download one by one, or all at once via the “update all” option.
