Twitch’s Apple TV app is in public beta now, which means anyone can get the beta version of the app on their Apple TV.
The app allows you to watch live video previews of live streams while you’re browsing for the one you want and offers on-screen chat. So, you know, Twitch, except on an Apple TV.
To get it you’ll need to download Apple’s TestFlight app on both your iPhone and Apple TV.
After you do, you can find the Twitch app here.
In order to try the beta, you’ll need an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 8 or later as well as an Apple TV running tvOS 9 or later.
And keep in mind that the app is beta. The fact that it’s public beta now certainly makes it so you’re likely to get a reasonably stable build, but there will likely be a few bugs at this point as well.
Public beta also means the finished version is likely to be headed our way soon.
