One word that best describes how you work: Energetic

What apps/software/tools can’t you live without?

Slack, Hubspot, Podcast.

What social network do you find the most useful?

Instagram, Facebook.

What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?

Get used to having uncomfortable conversations. Attitude trumps skillset. Execute, execute, execute!

What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?

Deep relationships I have forged with customers and staff. Staff in particular, you spend so much of your time with them which is forged with the ups and downs of growing a business. Those close personal connections can be pretty special.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?

Hustling and getting through a huge task list. I can be very focused when things need to get done.

What’s your sleep routine like?

In bed before 10pm and alarm goes off at 5am.

What advice would you offer to other businesses on how to succeed?

To maximise every minute of every day, get your sleep, rest and diet fine-tuned to what works best for your body. Late morning meditation works well for me. It is a chance to calm everything down for 10-15minutes.

Make sure you’re constantly looking ahead and thinking about what’s next for your business. Competitors, technology, changes in government and regulation, can all impact outcomes in your business. You can’t necessarily predict what will happen but you should be thinking about safeguarding your business and planning for the unexpected.
