What apps/software/tools can’t you live without?

Squarespace, Tapfiliate, Crunchbase, Spotify, ABC News

What social network do you find the most useful?

LinkedIn.

What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?

Don’t waste valuable time trying to teach yourself something you don’t know – always ask for help or outsource to an expert. Make time to foster new relationships with interesting people you meet, as you never know when you might need to turn to someone for advice.

What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?

How grateful and appreciative customers are for good products and service. Our product (being small business loans), isn’t a particularly personable one, however, it has been so surprising and lovely to see how meaningful our services are to business owners and how working with them becomes such a personal experience. It has taught me to never underestimate the value of trust and personal relationships in business.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?

Taking notes of anything, anytime. I document every good idea and conversation, and always have a ‘to-do list’ on the go.

What’s your sleep routine like?

Go to bed early, get up early and try to get as close to eight hours of sleep as possible!
