Make Jellied Cranberry Sauce Look Homemade With Whole Cranberries

Just because you offered to host a winter meal doesn’t mean you have to make everything from scratch. This simple trick will buy you some valuable cooking time, and make your canned cranberry sauce look and taste better.

Cranberry sauce is an excellent way to sweeten up a winter’s dessert, but it’s difficult to make and requires effort you don’t actually have to put in!

If you’re not interested in learning yet another recipe, the Food Network’s Sunny Anderson suggests you just make the canned stuff look like you worked really hard on it.

Buy a tin of the jellied cranberry sauce and a tin of whole cranberries, then whisk them together. As you whisk, splash a little orange juice or add a little orange zest and you’re all set. You can also sprinkle in a little rosemary. It’ll taste great and nobody will know your secret. We promise we won’t tell!
