Earlier this week Twitch announced plans to build a new all-in-one streaming app for gamers called Twitch Studio, the company’s first broadcasting software.
Currently, Twitch broadcasters are relying on third-party software to get their streams to viewers. Twitch Studio will ideally make the process of joining Twitch and starting a stream, as well as actually broadcasting that stream, much more seamless.
Twitch Studio isn’t quite ready for prime time just yet, and when it is it will be targeted at new users, but for now, the company has opened it up for beta testing.
The beta is PC only and requires an invitation to join. You can sign up to potentially get an invite on Twitch’s website here.
The signup page notes that Twitch will be opening up more spots for the beta over time. So if you don’t get in right away, be on the lookout for that email to come down the line.
