I’m sure you’ve been there. You come home from a long day of travel — exhausted and famished — only to open up your refrigerator to see it stocked full of nothing. Bah. You just want food. Preferably fresh food if you’ve been eating your meals off of aeroplane trays for far too many hours.
Here is a little trick: Before you get on the plane, order groceries online to be delivered when you when get home. Broadcaster Kumi Taguchi calls this her “one and only travel hack”.
My one and only travel hack: order groceries online before you get on the plane so they’re delivered when you return home. Saves going to the supermarket sleep-deprived and jetlagged. Plus you always crave fresh produce after airplane food ???? #home pic.twitter.com/9zfhn3uOJ3

It will feel like such a treat, saving you from rummaging through your pantry for that one package of instant noodles you remember seeing months ago, or worse — going out to the store when you’re about to collapse. Plop down your bags, go take a shower and bite into a crispy apple. You are home, sweet home.
