Prime Day Shoppers Are Buying Some Weird Stuff

During Amazon Prime Day, Lifehacker readers snapped up hundreds of different products via our big deals roundup including a bunch of things we would personally never want in our house. Here are the ten most popular deals, based on total units sold.

The Amazon Prime Day sale contains thousands of products spread across 25 different categories. It’s therefore unsurprising to see some disparity in the most popular purchases. Nevertheless, we would never have predicted some of the biggest sellers.

Among the usual suspects like audio products and consoles were things like doggie treats, crates of soft drink, ‘No Tie’ shoelaces and financial guru ebooks. Which just goes to show that Amazon’s trash is everyone’s treasure. Or something.

Here are the top ten best-selling products with our readers:

  1. Philips Hue White Bayonet Cap

  2. Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

  3. Sony Over-Ear Headphones, Black (WH1000XM3B)
