How to watch State Of Origin online

Previously, the easiest way to watch State Of Origin online was to purchase an NRL Live Pass from Telstra for $3.99. However, this year’s pass does not include live streaming of State of Origin. Boo!

The good news is that Nine’s free 9Now web app will be providing a live stream of all three State Of Origin games. Hurrah!

Nine will offer multiple streams that viewers can swap between. These range from a spider cam to a ‘player cam’ focused on one team only. Naturally, you can also stick to Main coverage if you prefer.

Unfortunately, the aforementioned 9Now app is region locked and won’t be accessible for users that are not located in Australia. Your best bet is to sign up for a virtual private network (VPN) which will hide the location of your computer and mobile devices.
