Everything Coming To Stan, Netflix, Foxtel And Prime In July 2019

It’s time to grab a blanket, curl into the couch with a warm drink and get ready to binge on a whole lot of streaming goodness.

Stan

Stan kicks off with an all new series starring Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes, the founder of Fox News. And there’s one of my favourite movies of recent times, Ready Player One. Sure, it’s kinda trashy but the story is a fun and the pop culture references are plentiful. A bunch of other series are contenting as well with plenty of new shows to keep you entertained.

The Loudest Voice

Academy Award winner Russell Crowe is unrecognisable as Roger Ailes in this gripping series that charts the spectacular rise and fall of the infamous founder of the Fox News network. Featuring a stellar supporting cast, including Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts, Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller and Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane, this seven-part limited series reveals how Ailes built the notorious cable news network and effectively became the Republican Party’s de facto leader, while also exploring the sexual harassment accusations and settlements that ultimately brought his Fox News reign to an end.

The Rook

Based on the acclaimed sci-fi novel by Aussie author Daniel O’Malley, this British thriller with a twist follows Myfanwy Thomas (Emma Greenwell), who wakes up in a park one day wearing latex gloves and surrounded by dead bodies – with no idea how she got there.

Sweetbitter

What comes after being new? Tess (Ella Purnell) has the job, and she’s ready to invest in it. She’s all in, but soon realises she won’t survive at the restaurant if she doesn’t play the game.
