If you’re considering a new iPhone, now might be a good time to pull the trigger. Telstra and Optus both have a whole heap of Apple-centric deals across new and old iPhone models. Whether you prefer the latest and greatest or are okay with a model from a few years back, there are plenty of hot offers around right now.

Save $20 per month on a 256GB iPhone 8 Plus with Telstra

If you’d prefer a newer iPhone, Telstra is also discounting 256GB iPhone 8 Plus plans by a cool $20 per month.

The $99 per month plan with 20GB is easily the best option here, down from $119 per month. For comparison, you’d be spending $139 per month for a 256GB iPhone XS on the same Telstra plan, $126 for a 256GB iPhone XR, or $99 for a 64GB iPhone 8. Telstra no longer ranges the 64GB iPhone 8 Plus.

As with the iPhone SE, you can only get this iPhone 8 Plus in space grey. This deal is available while stocks last.

Get a free pair of Beats Solo3 headphones when you buy an iPhone with Optus

Everyone loves a freebie, and if you pick up an Optus iPhone on one of the telco’s plans worth at least $85 per month (excluding handset repayments), you’ll get a bonus pair of Beats Solo3 on-ear headphones. The Beats Solo3s are valued at $399, which makes them a pretty solid bonus. You don’t get a choice of colour however, so you’d better like black.

The headphones themselves are designed to work best with Apple products, featuring the same W1 chip you’ll find in the original AirPods. This syncs the Solo3s to your iCloud account, which makes them easy to use across you iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch without having to constantly pair and re-pair. Better yet, the Beats Solo3s are said to last up to 40 hours per charge.

This promo runs until the end of June. After you sign up to an eligible plan, you’ll get an SMS within 48 hours of activating your service, which will contain a link on how to redeem the headphones. The headphones have to be redeemed by July 15.

Here are plans that include the bonus Beats for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone 8:

$95 per month iPhone XR on a Telstra Family & Friends Lease Plan

Telstra has one more iPhone promo worth mentioning: it’s currently slinging 128GB iPhone XRs for $95 per month with 30GB of data on its “Family & Friends” lease plan. When compared to Telstra’s standard iPhone XR lease plans, you’re looking at a saving of $9 per month and 10GB extra data. That’s not bad. That saving increases to $19 per month when compared to a non-leasing plan.

Of course, since this plan is a lease, you’ll have to hand your phone back at the end of your 24-month contract.

If you’d prefer a 256GB iPhone XR on the same plan, you’ll pay $105 per month instead.
