Optus is offering a 64GB iPhone XR for $79 per month with 100GB of data on a 24-month contract. The plan doesn’t include international calls or roaming data, but you do get an Optus Sport subscription and data free music streaming through Spotify and Google Play music. Here are the details!

If your needs are simple and your main requirement is a stack of mobile data then this is a pretty decent plan.

If you buy an iPhone XR outright, that would set you back $1229. This deal costs $1896 over the contract period so the data component of the plan works out to less than $28 a month – or under 80 cents per gigabyte!

Here are the full inclusions. (Click on the ‘Go To Site’ button for more info.)

And here’s how the plan compares to other iPhone XR options on the market from Optus, Telstra and Vodafone:

The $79 deal is set to end on 30 June – so you’ve got another month to make your mind up.
