    The Optus Wireless Broadband is *not* a limited-time offer. It is their standard offering price since the product came out several months ago (I have the 500gb plan and took it our shortly after it was released) You may be confusing this with the 12 month $60 mobile broadband plan, which is usually 100gb at $60 per month but often is offered with double-data

    The "free" modem is free only if you sign up for a 12 month contract.
    It is also crippled to be usable on optus only.
    if you do BYO modem only certain models work
