Everything Coming To Netflix This Week (April 22)

With a shortened week because of the Easter break and ANZAC Day, this week’s Netflix binge list is a little slimmer than usual. But there’s still plenty of great movies and TV shows to help you chill out. If you’ve been smart and added a couple of days of annual leave into your week, there are several movies, documentaries and series to keep you entertained.

Aurora (25 April)

A fatal shipwreck spurs an islander innkeeper and her sister to recover the missing victims’ bodies — until the dead come seeking shelter themselves.

The Beguiled (25 April)

The unexpected arrival of a wounded Union soldier at a girls school in Virginia during the American Civil War leads to jealousy and betrayal.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Season 2 (26 April)

A reimagining of the ‘80s hit series, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphaned princess named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the legendary warrior She-Ra. Along the way, she finds a new surrogate family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.

The Protector: Season 2 (26 April)

Facing formidable odds against the resurgent Immortals, Hakan and the Loyal Ones must forestall sinister plans to destroy the city — and all humans.

Yankee (26/04/2019)

The story of Edgar Valdez, a young man from Texas who, instead of heading off to University with his friends, decided to cross the Rio Grande to become one of the most bloodthirsty assassins in the history of Mexican drug trafficking.

Street Food (26 April)

From the creators of Chef’s Table, Street Food takes viewers to some of the world’s most vibrant cities to explore the rich culture of street food all over the globe. Season one explores nine countries across Asia, from the hawker stalls of Singapore to the food carts of India. Each episode highlights the stories of perseverance and culture that bring life to each country’s cuisine.

ReMastered: Devil at the Crossroads (26 April)

Robert Johnson was one of the most influential blues guitarists ever. Even before his early death, fans wondered if he’d made a pact with the Devil.

Archer: Season 9 (26 April)

As World War II looms, Archer and his merry band of misfits are transported to Danger Island, where quicksand and cannibals are par for the course.
