At the time, we cautioned that some additional titles might be removed on the last day of the month. Instead of “some”, we should have said “a metric-butt-tonne”.”]

Stan

Following the addition of a pile of movies from Disney’s library, Stan continues to add some interesting titles to their library. Star Wars fans get a look at the much-maligned Solo: A Star Wars Story with a couple fo chapters of the infamous Melbourne celebrity-criminal Chopper Read’s story thrown in as well. And one of my favourite movies, Zombieland, is coming as well. Throw in the Brad Bitt-led Moneyball and it’s a winning month.

Zombieland

A shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, a gun-toting tough guy trying to find the last Twinkie, and a pair of sisters trying to get to an amusement park join forces to travel across a zombie-filled America. Throw in Bill Murray and you have a classic.

[clear]

Moneyball

Baseball team, the Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane’s successful attempt to assemble a baseball team on a lean budget by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Find out how Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion and saving the galaxy.
