If you’re a Santa fan, Google is offering kids (and adults) a fun opportunity this year to call the big guy at his home in the North Pole.
To start the call, just say “Hey Google, Call Santa” to your Google Home device or Google Assistant on your phone. When you do, you’ll hear a dialling sound and then be connected with an elf that will eventually transfer you to Santa, who happens to be in the middle of rehearsals for a holiday musical.
You can’t hit Santa with your wish list over the speaker, but he does ask you for some help crafting his musical number through some multiple choice questions. When you’re finished answering them, Santa finishes things off my playing you a holiday jam incorporating your suggestions.
As an adult in my 30s, I found the experience, which takes maybe two minutes, kind of fun and much more believable than anticipated. If I was a child in the single digits, I think I would find it amazing.
