Boost Your Frequent Flyer Points With Qantas Shopping

If you want to maximise your frequent flyer points, it’s usually a good idea to keep track of the best ways to earn and redeem.

For those of us collecting Qantas Points, a savvy way to boost your balance is using Qantas Shopping for online and even in-store purchases.

Shoppers can earn rewards on everyday purchases, making it a useful addition to the usual methods of racking up points like flying and credit card spending.

Brought to you by Qantas Shopping. Discover online shopping deals and the many ways you can earn and use Qantas Points on your shopping.

Qantas Shopping also lets you use points on a range of products from top brands. Here’s how it works:

Earning

When purchasing something online, simply visit Qantas Shopping first and log into your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. A good way to remember is by bookmarking Qantas Shopping to your favourites.

Then, simply search for the store you’re looking for, click through to their website (taking note of any promo codes or coupons listed) and shop as normal.

Qantas Points will be automatically credited to your account based on where you shopped and how much you spent. You can monitor the progress of points in the Shopping History tab.

The Online Mall has over 160 brands, including tech giants like Samsung, Apple, eBay, Catch, Kogan, HP and the Microsoft Store.

Plus, you’ll find other stores to earn points on everyday spending, such as Woolworths Online, David Jones, THE ICONIC, ASOS and Priceline.

Brands regularly have bonus points offers, meaning you can earn up to 10 Qantas Points per $1 spent — all for purchases you would make anyway.

That makes it pretty easy to rack up thousands of points throughout the year on everyday spending, especially if you bookmark it for Black Friday and Christmas splurges.

Tip: make sure cookies are enabled so purchases track properly — that usually means switching off any ad blockers while you shop.

Another effective way to boost your points is linking your Mastercard® card, activating and shopping weekly Card Offers from top brands selected just for you.

Once you’ve built up enough points, you can redeem them in a couple of ways — and it doesn’t have to be on a Qantas flight.

Redeeming

If jetting off to a far-flung destination doesn’t take your fancy, you can use your points on products in the Qantas Shopping Rewards Store.

There are products from over 500 brands to choose from, in electronics, travel, homewares, fashion, beauty and more.

You can redeem your points on gadgets from big brand names like Apple, Bose, Sony, Dyson and Samsung, with delivery included in the price.

If you don’t quite have enough points, you can make up the difference with cash using Points Plus Pay.

The Qantas Shopping Rewards Store often runs sales and has some huge discounts coming up in November for Click Frenzy, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Expect to get your hands on the latest tech from the likes of Bose, Samsung, Dyson, Bang & Olufsen and Samsonite for significantly less points.
