Memorise Speeches And Presentations Easier Using This App

Memorising things, especially long things like speeches and presentations, can be pretty difficult to do. Like all things, practice makes perfect. However, unless you have a pal around to help you with all that practice it’s easy for you to slip up while you’re practising and miss parts, or not get the whole memorisation thing off the ground in the first place.

Memorise By Heart is an iOS app that attempts to help. With the $1.49 app you copy and paste text into the app and then test your ability to remember that text by having the app selectively remove letters or words from the mix, effectively having you fill in blanks.

You can also use the app like having a friend in the room and recite the text back. It will let you know where you screwed up and offer a percentage score of where you are in the process. For instance, it might let you know you’re only 50 per cent of the way to having a speech memorised or it will confirm you’ve got it down and are ready to go.

If you have a handful of things you need to memorise the app can handle “unlimited memorisations,” although I’m not entirely sure your brain can. Still, if you’re working up that perfect presentation for class or a meeting at work, it can be a great tool to have in your arsenal. And if you’re looking for other solutions, using this font also might help.
