Kogan Mobile Has A Crazy Data Deal: Get 17GB For Under $5!

Attention penny pinchers: Kogan Mobile has chopped prices on its SIM-only phone plans by a whopping 85% for new customers. This brings the price down to about the same as your morning trip to the coffee shop.

Kogan used to offer three months of data-only access for $99.90 with a monthly limit of 17GB. That plan has now been slashed to $14.90 or $4.97 for every 30 days. As well as 17GB of data every 30 days, the plan includes unlimited national standard calls and texts.

You can also bring your own phone to this plan but you’ll need to be a new Kogan Mobile customer and the offer expires on 24 October 2018 at 11:59PM AEDST. The price only applies to your first 90 days if you sign up. After that, you’ll go back to the usual price.

You can see what comes with each plan in the table interactive below. (Note: the discounts are highlighted in the inclusions column.)

Amaysim also updated its SIM-only plans recently, doubling some of the data allowances. The new plans include:

  • $50 unlimited plan with 40GB data (up from 20GB)
  • $40 unlimited plan with 20GB data
  • $30 unlimited plan with 10GB data (up from 5GB)

Optus has made a similar move.

They have three new My Promo Plus plans.

  • $35 per month for 30GB of data
  • $45 per month for 50GB of data
  • $55 per month for 80GB of data

It’s a good time to shop around and let your carrier know there are better deals to be had.
