It’s no secret that you can get some crazy-good software for the sweet price of zero dollars, if you’re a student. For novice developers looking for a step up in their coding game, JetBrains offers its entire range free, if you’re currently studying.
If you’d like to get your hands on some of JetBrains’ best apps, including IntellJ IDEA, Resharper and Rider, all you have to do is visit the company’s website — specifically the Products for Learning page.
Once there, you’ll have to prove you’re a student, with JetBrains providing four identification methods: email address, ISIC / ITIC, documentation or GitHub.
After you’ve submitted your details, the waiting game begins (with some methods, such as email, being faster than others). However, once you’re approved, you’ll get access to JetBrains’ full range of products.
