The ABC is closing down its retail stores. That means it’s having a massive sale as it seeks to get rid of all the leftover stock. You can get up to 70% off the regular price on a wide range of items including books (audio and paper), toys, clothing and Blu-rays/DVDs. Here are few of the bargains that caught out eye.
The ABC Closing Down Sale has a wide variety of kids clothes that used to sell for up to $25 being flogged for just five bucks. But there are also dress-ups and other fancy-dress accessories which could be useful for Halloween.
There are also lots of books for $5.00 or less including sport biographies, novels and general fiction. There are also stacks of audiobooks reduced by as much as 90%.
DVD and Blu-ray TV series, movies and documentaries are also discounted although you’ll need to do some legwork to find the bargains. While some media is discounted less than 15% there are some great deals, such as Doctor Who – The Silurians down to $9.00 from $29.99.
One of our family favourites, Horrible Histories, has also been reduced by 70% to $7.50.
