Android/iOS: Sunscreen isn’t just for preventing sunburns. The sun’s rays are responsible for much of the wrinkling, thickening and brownish spots that show up over time, especially on light skin. Fortunately, a good broad-spectrum sunscreen will protect you, and this app simulates exactly how much.
Take a selfie with Sunface (free on iOS or Android), and the app will apply wrinkles, sunspots, and all the other appearance-related signs of ageing to show you what you’ll look like without sunscreen in the future — five years up to 25.
Now hit the “sun protection” button, and you’ll see your same smiling face with far fewer wrinkles and discolorations. (There is also a “weekly tanning” option, which looks a lot like the “no sun protection” option but comes with a greater cancer risk.)
