Reeder 3 Is Now Free From The Mac App Store

Mac: If you’re in the market for a new RSS reader, have we got a deal for you.

Reeder 3, a favourite here at Lifehacker HQ, recently dropped the price for its Mac App from $14.99 to free, making it the perfect time to take the RSS reader out for a spin (if you haven’t already).

The news reader supports Feedbin, Feedly, Feed Wrangler, FeedHQ, NewsBlur, the Old Reader, Inoreader, Minimal Reader BazQux Reader, Fever, Readability and Instapaper.

We love it because the app has a really customisable interface, with themes and a link that can be tweaked to fit your needs. It also lets you use a few of those news services at once and look at them side by side.

The developer has said that version 3 will be free until version 4 is released later this year as a paid upgrade to the app with no subscription required. Reeder 3 was released in 2015.
