How To Watch The 2018 Emmy Awards

The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards airs this Tuesday in Australia. The event is happening live at the Microsoft Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, and will be broadcast starting at 8am AEST. Here’s how to watch live!

This year’s event is executive-produced by SNL creator Lorne Michaels, and will be hosted by SNL co-head writers Michael Che and Colin Jost. Given all that, we expect to see a few other SNL cast members make surprise appearances during the show.

How To Watch The Emmys Live

Despite the high comedy pedigree of this year’s show, Australia’s free-to-air networks will not be broadcasting the 2018 Emmy’s in Australia. Boo-urns. Instead, you’re going to have to pony up for a Foxtel subscription.

  • 9:30am: Emmys Pre-show (FOX8)
  • 10am: 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards (FOX8)
  • 1pm: After Party (E! Channel)

If you’re stuck at work, you’ll also be able to catch a repeat on FOX8 at 7:30pm.
