How To Make Your Google Home Bilingual

How To Make Your Google Home Bilingual

This weekend Google announced plans to bring support for 22 new languages to Google Home by the end of the year. That number adds to the languages the smart assistant already supports.

Google Assistant (and Google Home) already supports English, Dutch, French, Italian, German, Japanese and Spanish.

If you’d like to speak to your device in a language other than English, you can set it up by launching the Google Assistant app on an Android device and then tapping the Explore button (it looks like a map icon), followed by the action overflow button (the three dots stacked on top of each other in the top right), followed by Settings, then Preferences, then Assistant language.

Once added, you’ll be able to speak to your Google Home in both English and the language you’ve selected.
