Earlier this year I embraced the greatness that is Instagram stories. While I'll typically spend a good deal of time trying to capture the perfect image with the perfect caption to put on regular Instagram, with Instagram stories I'm willing to post pretty much anything. When given the choice I also like to add stickers and GIFs to what I post, sometimes at a level that (wrong) people might call excessive.
Finding the right sticker for the occasion is hard. This week I came across an app that makes that a bit easier. Called Any Sticker, the app allows you to make custom stickers to use on Instagram.
For all intents and purposes, these are stickers that look a lot like the text option in stories, except with a little emoji action to spice them up a bit.
You start by picking a colour for your sticker, and then an icon/emoji of your choice from the collection the app has. Options include things like a martini glass, a map icon, and a set of barbells. The idea here is that you might use the app to create a sticker to commemorate that new weight-lifting accomplishment or share where you're headed with a map icon.
Once you've created the perfect sticker, you upload the image you want to add it to into the app and then launch Instagram. Once in Instagram, you can move your sticker around and resize it just like you can with a native Instagram sticker.
It's definitely not one of those things you're going to use all the time, but if you're having trouble finding the perfect sticker, it can help you create exactly what you're looking for.
